• Soft, romantic curls and waves are hot.

• There should be a soft, flowing movement to the hair.
• Sparkled accessories for the hair such as headbands, barrettes and jeweled bobby pins are popular. These are often sold at the bridal stores.
• At least 6 weeks prior to the wedding, visit your stylist to determine if you need color, a trim or a treatment and to experiment with different hair styles. Bring a camera. If you have them, bring photos of styles you do and don't like.
• On the day of the wedding, unless you have oily hair, don't wash your hair. Hair that is "a day dirty," is preferred. Also remember to bring the photos of the hair style you choose during your trial run.

• Keep just a couple of basic emergency supplies on hand after you leave the salon: a couple of bobby pins and some hair spray. However, Melissa shares that most of her brides end up wearing their same hair style on the plane the next day for the for the honeymoon. Once it's up, it's up!
