Available In Late March: IONA L'Oréal Professional Hair Color Line (Ammonia Free!)
It's not just hair color, it's a treatment and an experience. Now used by the top industry leaders.
In late March, Von Anthony Salon will be the first in the area to provide INOA, the L'Oréal Professional Hair Color Line.
Named for Innovation No
Ammonia, INOA is not only ammonia-free but also, lifts color up to three shades, covers gray, and has true-to-tone results.
L'Oréal replaced ammonia with monoethanolamine, and then added an oil-based gel that replicates the natural essential oils in the hair. Just as the hairs own oils penetrate the hair shaft, so does the gel in L'Oreal INOA, allowing the dye to be deposited.
Ask your stylist for details.
For more details, visit the INOA website.

Hot For Color
When you are coloring your hair to look natural or to show off highlights consider the underneath color to be your backdrop shade.
The underneath color can be a different tone not darker just different to show case the other tones.
A great example would be Honey Blonde backdrops with pale and golden highlights.

Amy's Tips: How to Make Your Hair Color Last

Haircolor is designed to last 4-6 weeks.
If this is too often for you, choose a color that is close to your natural one, not a shade thats a lot lighter or darker Your new growth won't show as much.
There is one key to keeping your color looking fresh and that is to keep the cuticle layer of your hair closed.
Heat is a big culprit, hot temps from the environment your water temp and blow drying.
So make sure to use the right shampoo/conditioner and a styling aid that offers heat protection and even uv.
If you use the right products you may not experience those awful unwanted warm tones.
