How To: Modern, Fluffy Faux Bob

As seen in Teen Vogue, here's how to get this look for mid-length to long hair which is folded into a bob.

Step 1: Prep hair with Kérastase Nectar Thermique to protect it against heat-styling tools.

Step 2: Work Kérastase Mousse Volumactive through damp hair to give texture and volume, and then rough dry your hair.

Step 3: Take a small section of hair at the nape of your neck, split it in half, and create a braid with each half.

Step 4: Wrap the braids around each other, and pin them flat against the back of your head. (You want them to be covered under the remaining lengths of hair.)

Step 5: Curl the bottom layer of your hair with a wave iron, and use a large-barreled curling iron to curl the top layer.

Step 6: Pin the ends of your hair against the braids on the back of your head to create the faux bob.

Step 7: Finally, lightly rough up the faux bob to get extra texture, and finish with a spritz of Kérastase Double Force Hair Spray for a matte look.
