Title and Responsibilities at Von Anthony Salon?
My title at Von Anthony Salon is an Aesthetician.  The service I provide are face and body waxing, facials and makeup applications.

Why did you get into the beauty industry? 
To be around all this beauty! This industry is fun and exciting because we get to help people inhance their beauty!

How do you stay innovative and up-to-date in your industry?
I stay innovative and up-to-date in the industry by subscribing to two skin care magazines, Les Nouvelles Esthétiques & Skin Inc.

I also follow several makeup and skincare brands on Instagram.  They post pictures and updates on what's new in the industry.


Favorite skin care tip?
My favorite skincare tip is to use a hydration spray before applying a moisturizer.  Even oily skin can benefit from hydration.  Jane Iredale has three hydration sprays that can be customized to your skin condition.  Such as oily, dry or combination. 
These Hydration sprays can also be used any time during the day to refresh your makeup and as a makeup setting spray. 

Skin care tips for the Texas summer.
My skincare tip for Texas is that everyone needs to wear sunscreen daily!  It should be worn on your face, hands, neck and dècolltè. 

Favorite Circell product and why?
My favorite Circcell product is Daily Hydration with SPF 43.  This moisturizer works for all skin conditions.  It is oil free yet will hydrate your skin with hyaluronic acid.

What do you like to do in your free time?
I spend most of my free time volunteering at my church in the Children's Ministry.

Best advice ever received?
On my first day of esthetic school June 2008, my instructor said, "Do more than what is expected of you on your job."

Where did you grow up?
I grew up in Mesa, Arizona. I moved around a lot since my father was in the Air Force.  We moved to Okinawa, Japan we I turned 13.

Favorite home cooked meal.
I really enjoy home make enchiladas and guacamole.

What is your favorite vacation spot?
My favorite vacation spot is Myrtle Beach, South Carolina.  This is were my dad lives so we always have a place to stay.

Favorite Starbucks drink?  Caramel Frappuccino.
